I'm a super foodie person and truly enjoyed the meal I got here! I got the broiled seafood platter number two. It had African lobster tail scallops shrimp and crab with oven browned potatoes and veggies. The meal was excellent I had a martini from the bar. And was able to get a reservation on same day notice for the time I wanted. I would recommend that if you are a seafood lover, this is your spot!
Absolutely loved our meal tonight as always. Always fresh, prepared perfectly, and just the right portions. Ordered the carrot blueberry cake, sooooo amazing. Our waiter Chris and his fiance were such a pleasure to chat with and so friendly. Best place around for seafood!
My husband and I had our date night here. The food was fresh and paired perfectly with our drinks. The service was exceptional. He was very attentive. The food is well worth the price you pay. Would absolutely recommend for any occasion!
We came here to celebrate a milestone birthday and really enjoyed it. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. The lobster very fresh, tender, and served with melted brown butter! Delicious!!
Start to finish a tremendous experience. I have not been to Youell's Oyster House for dinner ever in my life. Many people suggested I must try it. It’s now on the list of local top spots. Service was on point, the seafood tower took some time to prepare, but it was worth the wait. Washburn Oysters, which were a new breed for me, were excellent. Creamy, brine laden, tender, and a touch sweet. On the recommendation of Chris “Kemosabe” Kline, I ordered the 8oz filet mignon. This broke two of my dining rules: never get steak at a seafood joint, and never order a filet out (because I make em’ dam good at home). The steak was cooked to perfection. A nice, seasoned crust, and medium rare throughout. The crab cake was all jumbo lump, zero filler. This is, in my opinion, the best crab cake in the Valley. I will be making a return trip sooner than later!
Ate here for the second time last Sunday and again is was one of my best dining experiences in a long time. The wait staff was friendly and professional, and the food was great. We got several items including a seafood tower, a few appetizers and some broiled seafood platters. All of which had huge portions and costed a fraction of what you'd pay for the same quality food in a big city restaurant. We also tried the featured swordfish special that they were offered that night. The dish was perfectly composed of fresh ingredients and plated in an elegant fashion. Obvious that the chef has some real talent and cares about his craft. Truly a perfect meal from appetizer to dessert.
